Affiliate disclosure

AyyazTech tutorials and videos are free. Part of what keeps them free is affiliate links. This page explains how that works, so you always know when I might earn something.
How affiliate links work
An affiliate link is a link to a product or service that tells the company you came from AyyazTech. If you sign up or buy through it, the company may pay me a commission or give me a credit.
- It costs you nothing extra. You pay the same price as going to the site directly.
- Some links in the tutorials and in AyyazTech YouTube video descriptions are affiliate links. Not every one of them is labelled individually, so assume a link to a paid tool may be one.
- Many of them go through a short link that starts with
ayyaztech.com/go/. It counts the click and then sends you on to the tool. The privacy policy lists what that click records. - In the "Tools used in this tutorial" box on an article, affiliate links are marked "(affiliate link)".
How tools are chosen
I recommend tools I actually use in my own projects and client work, or have tested properly for a tutorial. A tool doesn't get into a tutorial because it has an affiliate programme, and I link to the right tool whether or not it pays me. If a free or cheaper option does the job, I'll say so.
If you think a recommendation is off, or you want to know whether a specific link is an affiliate link, tell me (opens in a new tab) and I'll fix it.
